Protools Introduction and Training

Students will be Extensively trained with the feature set of Protools Including Tracking, Editing, Midi Programming, Elastic Time and Pitch, Automation and the Protools Mixer.

2. Setting up Various type of tracks
3. Track laying & editing
4. MIDI Programming & Protools Instruments
5. Working with Elastic time and Pitch
6. Exploring automation techniques
7. Working with the Protools Mixer Environment

Logic Pro Introduction and Training

Students will be extensively trained with the feature set of Logic Pro Including Tracking, Editing, Midi Programming, Flex Time and Pitch, Automation and the Logic Pro Mixer.

Module Length   12 Lectures

1. Introduction to Logic Software
2. Exploring the preferences & settings menu
3. Setting up Various types of tracks
4. Track laying & editing
5. MIDI Programming and Logic Instruments
6. Working with Flex time & Flex Pitch
7. Exploring Automation techniques

Native Instruments Maschine Introduction and Training

Students will be extensively trained on Native instruments Maschine with Ableton Live.

Module Length   6 Lectures

1. Introduction to Ableton Live
2. Introduction to Native Instruments Maschine
3. Exploring Sounds & Menus
4. Exploring the Synthesizer
5. Sequencing in Maschine

Projects

Projects are designed to encourage the spirit of collaboration and also harness individuals talent. The students are encouraged to use all facilities available and come up with their own materials in terms of complete mixed and mastered arrangements. This focuses on real time experience for students which can prepare them for the professional environment. Assignments are carefully laid out in semesters so that the student’s progress is monitored and analysed for further scope of improvement. Project completed by the students are served as show reels for the students which can be really helpful from a job perspective. Group project which includes video song which is composed & produced by student.
